Tobias has now joined the Allan Family @ June 2010

Xena has now joined the Goodburn Family @ July 2010

Just a quick update on Xena..... She has settled in really well, amazingly confident & seems to be purring nearly all the time! Rambo (our other cat) is keeping a little distance between them but is keeping a close eye.

Thought you might want to see a few pictures of Xena (how hard is it to get cats to sit still!)..... Settled in well and starting to run the house!

Zoe has now joined the Christie Family @ July 2010

Just a quick note to let you know that Zoe is settling in fine. She and Ellie are now playing happily together with only the occasional growl and paw waving from either side but lots of mad pounces and hunting stuff!

Charlie has now joined the Heaffey Family @ July 2010

Charlie has fully settled in, it took all of an hour. He is having great fun with Daisy and Fred, but is a real cuddle bunny and just adorable. I have had a few times with all 3 of them on my lap, it won't last long as they grow!

I will send some piccies as soon as they sit still long enough for me to
take one, they keep escaping the pictures!

Giuliano has now joined Christina & Alessandro @ March 2010

"He
has grown so much and you will be pleased to see what a handsome young man he is now! His has quite a thing for all sorts of water play and loves getting himself wet, always sitting besides the kitchen sink and following us to the bathroom to play and roll in the bathtub! I´ve never ever seen a cat who loves getting wet so much! The water in his waterbowls (two in total) seems to be undrinkable unless it has been stirred and scooped up a bit before drinking. So we try to keep towels handy at all times to dry the little lion, which he does not like at all. His favourite non-water game right now is hide and seek, which he loves best when played with a human behind a door (see above!).

Giuliano talks a lot recently, which we think he might pick up from our two grown up cats Bella & Skinny, both very talkative. And just look how long his tail is!! It is a good thing indeed that he loves being brushed so much and will sometimes wait by the brush for someone to come and use it on him! He is truly the friendliest cat I´ve ever known and never fails to surprise us!

Leo @ January 2010
Leo @ June 2010

"He is still enormous fun to be around. He has taken to running and jumping at me, so I have to catch him (he jumps like a flea!) and then he has a cuddle and purrs. This is great but he now weighs 14lb so it is quite a feat to actually catch him! He does not sit on your lap much anymore (unless he is saying sorry after being naughty!) but he headbutts your hand and then does a cartwheel and lands on the floor. He is completely in love with a small plastic bucket which he carries around and then charges at and pushes his head in it! In fact he loves all plastic, so we have to make sure we keep bags out of his way or he is prone to chewing the handles.

If I wake in the night, he has to come into the bathroom with me and demands a cuddle (he only does this at night, never in the day), although he does spend a large part of his day in a sink or the bath – he never thinks there is enough water!

I am doing well brushing him and he is ok as long as I leave his mane alone, but I hold his head up and quickly brush and he is looking lovely and silky.

We went to Canada for a fortnight at the beginning of May and my dad came to look after the boys. Every time I spoke to my dad whilst I was away all I heard was how amazing Leo was and what he had got up to. Everyone who sees him thinks he is great

As you can probably tell I adore him and he has enough personality for about three cats! I look forward to continuing to see him grow and develop as he is a constant joy."

New photos of Sid - looking very handsome @ January 2009
Just thought I would give you an update. Eats like a pig, sleeps like a baby!
He spends time running up and down our apple tree stopping the birds from 'stealing' the bird seed. They just sit out of reach and poke fun at him.
Now that the weather has been a little better I have been out in the garden tidying up and getting the veg patch ready for planting. Sid helps..!?......or thinks he does. He dug up the onions and blatted them around so I have had to put in 'anti-Sid' measures to protect them! I had to buy cloches yesterday to put over my spinach and carrot seeds to stop him running back and forth over them. That was a complete waste of time, he just squeezed inside them and ran up and down ploughing up the seeds! The only way we could persuade him to come out was to wave a bowl of fish at one end. I am thinking about putting him forward to audition for a place as a new gardeners world presenter. He'd be an instant hit! You can't tell him off because he trills at you and rolls over to have his tummy tickled. If we get any veg this year it will be a miracle.
