"He is still
enormous fun to be
around. He has taken
to running and jumping
at me, so I have to
catch him (he jumps
like a flea!) and
then he has a cuddle
and purrs. This is
great but he now weighs
14lb so it is quite
a feat to actually
catch him! He does
not sit on your lap
much anymore (unless
he is saying sorry
after being naughty!)
but he headbutts your
hand and then does
a cartwheel and lands
on the floor. He is
completely in love
with a small plastic
bucket which he carries
around and then charges
at and pushes his
head in it! In fact
he loves all plastic,
so we have to make
sure we keep bags
out of his way or
he is prone to chewing
the handles.
If
I wake in the night,
he has to come into
the bathroom with
me and demands a cuddle
(he only does this
at night, never in
the day), although
he does spend a large
part of his day in
a sink or the bath
– he never thinks
there is enough water!
I
am doing well brushing
him and he is ok as
long as I leave his
mane alone, but I
hold his head up and
quickly brush and
he is looking lovely
and silky.
We
went to Canada for
a fortnight at the
beginning of May and
my dad came to look
after the boys. Every
time I spoke to my
dad whilst I was away
all I heard was how
amazing Leo was and
what he had got up
to. Everyone who sees
him thinks he is great
As
you can probably tell
I adore him and he
has enough personality
for about three cats!
I look forward to
continuing to see
him grow and develop
as he is a constant
joy."
